Do you feel it? A certain restlessness?
A stirring within your soul wondering,
"Is this it? Is this all there is to being the church?".
Do you ever wonder if Jesus really meant those things He said in the Bible?
Have you taken the time to contemplate how in the world do Christ's commands line up with our current operating procedures in the church?
There are some serious over-arching problems plaguing North American Christianity as a whole.
Not every church falls into the main stream, but sadly too many do. Just like our planet goes through climate change cycles, so too does the Christian Church as a whole.

I have been researching these issues over the
past couple of years. I find myself struggling with the inconsistencies between what Jesus called us to do and what I am seeing within our own four walls and in the North American Church at
large. (Philippians 2:21)
Please understand that I do this in a
seeking manner. I believe the issues do not lay strictly at the leaderships feet, but also with each of us as individuals. (Philippians 1:9-11)
My sincere hope is to start positive conversations that lead us to begin seeking answers instead of ignoring the problems at large or merely pointing the fingers in blame. (Our true battle is not against each other, denominations, or our differing political allegiances. Ephesians 6:12)

Lastly, I do not believe any specific church
model is the “perfect” one. Depending on your location, your surrounding cultures and people groups, churches will and should vary to meet the needs of the area they are in.
Frankly, since we are all human we will invariably mess this church thing up in different ways.

at large and encourage each other as we seek Godly and Word driven
answers to these problems.
